Orchard Friends School – Brand Identity & Website
Orchard Friends is a small, K-12 private special education school in Riverton, New Jersey that strives to make academics possible for every student by enabling learning & empowering learners.
Approach
By starting from scratch, the creative ideation sessions focused on anchoring the design strategy with nonnegotiables vital to the messaging and ethos of the school: kind (logo), distinctive (color), and specialized (type system) to the needs of each student.
Rooted to this ethos, the design system feels consistent while still allowing for fresh approaches to unconventional content and materials. Insulating only the foundational assets opens up an infinite creative space for elevating, rather than restricting, assets as they come.
